Research on the Professional Commitment of Preschool Education Majors in Local Undergraduate Colleges

Abstract


The professional commitment of pre-school education majors refers to the positive attitudes and behaviors of preschool education majors who agree with their major and are willing to make corresponding efforts. Based on the survey of the professional commitments of pre-school education majors in local undergraduate colleges and universities, this research finds that the level of professional commitments of pre-school education majors in local undergraduate colleges is not high. The four dimensions of professional commitments from high to low are: normative commitment, ideal commitment, emotional
commitment, continuing commitment, grade, region, source of students, factors affecting the level of professional commitment of students, the specific reasons include the social status of preschool teachers, wage levels, welfare benefits, and college admissions methods, professional curriculum settings, and teachers conditions and facilities factors, as well as student personal factors.
