Research on the Cultivation Path of “Cross-boundary” Talents in Application Oriented Universities in Context of New Liberal Arts

Abstract


After the emergence of the concept of new liberal arts, foreign language majors in various application-oriented
universities began to reflect on the specialty setting and carry out a series of internal reforms, focusing on the necessity and
urgency of cross-boundary talent training. This paper focuses on the two aspects of “introduction to the background of new
liberal arts” and “training path of cross-boundary talents of foreign language majors in application-oriented universities under
the background of new liberal arts”. Focusing on the connotation of “new liberal arts”, this paper explores how to cultivate
cross-boundary talents of foreign language majors in application-oriented universities, aiming at reforming the traditional
talent training system with cross-boundary talents training as the new goal and height. More and more cross-boundary foreign
language talents are able to adapt to the development of modern enterprises and the new era.
