Abstract


To continue to deepen the ideological and political construction of college English courses is an inevitable requirement for cultivating young talents in the new era who can not only adhere to the national standpoint, but also have an international perspective; They can not only tell the “Chinese story” to the world, but also strengthen international exchanges and mutual learning. It is also an important manifestation of college English courses in the new development stage of the party and the country to demonstrate the new value of the times, and to help the country deepen reform and opening up and realize national rejuvenation. Therefore, in the process of deepening the construction of college English, we must always adhere to the basic principles of the unity of value and knowledge, the unity of dominance and subjectivity, and the unity of nationality and internationality; Explore the specific path of constructing college English courses: Improvement College English teachers’ education concepts, expand the ideological and political elements contained in college English courses, and innovate the ideological and political teaching methods of college English courses.
