Peilan Peng

Abstract

Based on cooperation principle in pragmatics, this paper explores how to violate the four principles of quantity, quality, relationship and mode in discourse. Through the analysis of the dialogue of the characters in the classic film Forrest Gump, teachers help students deepen the understanding of the film theme, show the character and enhance the artistic charm of the film. The analysis of the classic dialogues of the characters in the film can effectively help students grasp the features of the characters in the film, understand the implication of the words of the characters in the film, improve the ability of students to understand the words, and then improve the overall teaching level of teachers in the course of reward for film and television works.
