Carrying Forward the Spirit of the May 4th Movement and Carrying out the Historical Mission of Young People in the New Era
Abstract
The May 4th movement is a very influential ideological movement in Chinese history. Driven by countless literati and revolutionaries, it gave birth to the May 4th spirit. With the development of the times, the spirit of the May 4th movement also affected groups of young people. Patriotism and progressivism, democracy and scientism are the core of the May 4th spirit, and patriotism runs through the May 4th spirit. Teenagers should set correct goals, have the courage to bear the important responsibility of historical development, and shoulder the historical mission entrusted by the times. They always be patriotic, strive to improve their professional skills, cultivate their body and mind, to constantly carry forward the spirit of the May 4th movement.
