Curriculum Reform of “History of Chinese Architecture” with the Core of Promoting and Inheriting Chinese Traditional Architectural Culture
Abstract
The ideological and political construction of college courses is the trend of college education under the new situation. Combining with the current status of the long-term “westernization” of the current architecture education system and the lack of traditional inheritance in students’ future work practice, this paper starts from the two levels of ideological education and practical education, optimizes teaching content, updates teaching methods, and constructs the “Chinese Architecture”. History course practice as the core of the innovative practical teaching system, so as to complete the ideological and political construction of the Chinese architectural history course in both aspects of carrying forward and inheriting the traditional architectural culture.
