The Integration Way of College English Teaching and "Curriculum Ideological and Political Education"

Abstract


With the development of national education, the teaching of English majors in colleges and universities should be combined with moral education to realize its basic mission of moral education. The reformation of English curriculum  in colleges and universities should not only inherit our moral tradition, but also give consideration to the humanity and instrumentality of English teaching, and highlight the comprehensive development of English teaching. English teachers should base themselves on the content of English courses, fully explore the connotation of moral education, strengthen students' cultural self-confidence, closely link English teaching with real life, and broaden students' horizons and knowledge with the help of emotional training. Meanwhile, universities should strengthen teacher education, explore teaching resources, innovate teaching methods, and reform evaluation mechanisms. It is to promote the innovation of college English teaching, strengthen students' ideological and political education and promote students' comprehensive development.
