The Function of Context in Business English

Abstract


Business English is closely related with economy, trade, finance, public relations and marketing, and tightly combines the language context, professional knowledge and special language structure with each other. This study tries to explore the influence of the context on business English semantic understanding, to find how to use the contextual
knowledge so as to solve the problems in Business English.
