Construction of Flipped Classroom Model Based on TED-Ed

Lin Wang

Abstract

This paper discusses and sorts out the origin, definition and characteristics of flipped classrooms, as well as the development history and characteristics of Ted Talk and Ted-Ed, and constructs a TED-E-based flipped classroom model. The paper explores the feasibility and effectiveness of this teaching model through experimental research and questionnaire surveys. The results show that the general academic English flipped classroom based on TED-Ed, on the basis of making full use of the high-quality teaching resources of the network, flips the traditional academic English learning process from two dimensions of time and space, which is a feasible teaching mode and has a good overall effect.
