Student-centered research on English vocabulary teaching

Dongfang Li

Abstract

As a global language, English is playing an increasingly important role in the world. In China, students are required to learn English from elementary school. However, even if they have started attacking English learning for so many years, they will feel very distressed when they listen to native English speakers. Even college graduates often find themselves in awkward situations when they are asked to speak English or listen to native English speakers. Therefore, from the perspective of students' subjectivity, this paper discusses the student-centered research on English vocabulary teaching.
