Discussion on the Teaching Reform of Public Music Appreciation Course in Colleges and Universities

Abstract

The purpose of public music appreciation course is to cultivate students’ aesthetic education. It is an important medium for colleges and universities to implement aesthetic education. Public music appreciation courses in colleges and universities are to cultivate students’ aesthetic ability and constantly broaden students’ horizons. The reform of education will promote the reform of public music appreciation courses in colleges and universities, and cultivate more talents with comprehensive quality for the society. This paper mainly analyzes the problems encountered in the implementation of public music appreciation course in colleges and universities, so as to better promote the teaching reform of public music appreciation course.
