Realization of integration of socialist core values into college vocational education - from the perspective of the concept of "Five Great Development"

Abstract


In recent years, although career education continues to develop in colleges and universities in China, there is still a need to strengthen the guidance of students to establish a correct view of employment in the face of a weakening domination of socialist core values. This paper examines the extent the present situation of integration of college career education and socialist core values into the career education of colleges and universities by using questionnaire survey. This paper summarizes the achievements and problems, and puts forward the concept of the "five great develop-ments" being promulgated by the Fifth Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee namely, innovation, coor-dination, green effect, openness, sharing socialist core values, exploring ways to be incorporated into the realization of the path of college students at the same time guiding them to a better understanding of self and social environment. It further establishes Chinese Socialism ideal and pragmatic career goals in the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation's China dream and the great journey of building Socialism with Chinese characteristics bearing social responsibility and realizing the value of life.
