Abstract

According to the general attack theory model, the frustration situation will stimulate individuals’ aggression, which is divided into internal attack and external attack.Internal attack refers to the individual self-attack; external attack refers to the individual attack on others. However, the success of frustration inducing individual aggression is not only related to the environment, but also to their own cognition. It was found that implicit personality theory aff ects not only individuals’behavioral attribution of themselves and others, but also their patterns of processing of social information. The concept of implicit personality is also called thinking mode. Dweck et al. divides the concept of implicit personality into entity theory(fi xed thinking mode) and gradual change theory (growth thinking mode), while diff erent thinking patterns will aff ect indi-vidual behavior and performance.
