An Analysis of the Connection Between Oil Painting Creation and Artistic Expression

Abstract

With the progress of society and human thought, oil painting creation has a broader creative space in artistic language expression. Although oil painting works come from life, the artist uses artistic language to integrate emotional expression into his works, which makes oil painting works higher than life. When creating works, you must inject your own emotions and use artistic language to express your heart. This kind of language expression endows the author with individual characteristics and unique charm, and the resulting works are more likely to impress people, more easily resonate with the audience, and more able to with-stand the test of the long history, so that the works can achieve the eff ect of immortality. Based on the relationship between color and emotion in painting art, this paper summarizes and analyzes the color concepts of famous painters in diff erent periods at home and abroad and their specifi c performance in their oil paintings. Combined with specifi c examples, it analyzes the relationship between oil painting creation and artistic expression.
