Study on Business Oral English Teaching Based on Immersive Virtual Reality

Abstract


Immersive virtual reality(iVR) could activate students’ interest in participating in relevant learning activities and improve learning efficiency. Based on this, the paper firstly introduced the definition and essence of iVR. Then, the teaching environment of business English based on iVR was designed. Finally, taking project-based teaching of business oral English (BOE) as an example, this paper discussed the application effect of the teaching environment of business English based on iVR. It was found that this learning environment could improve students’ speaking ability, and especially play a beneficial role in these indicators of discourse management, pronunciation, and interactive communication.
