The Signifi  cance and Application of Micro-lecture in Secondary Vocational English Teaching

Abstract


Micro-lectures have entered the classroom as a new teaching form, assisting teachers and students to improve their learning effi ciency. Taking the secondary vocational English classroom as an example, this article begins by expounding the three advantages of using micro-lectures in teaching: it can cater to students’ psychology, and attract students with a clear focus and rich teaching methods. Then, based on the actual application of micro-lectures in classroom teaching, it describes the role of micro-lec-tures in helping students lay a solid foundation, advanced study, and extracurricular extension. I hope it can provide a reference, so that micro-lectures can go deep into more English classrooms.
