Research on The Innovative Application of Multicultural Music in College Music Education

Abstract

The changing needs of social development have put forward new requirements for music teaching in Colleges and universities. Colleges and universities need to improve teaching reform and cultivate high-end talents in society by improving the comprehensive quality of students through music teaching reform. Carrying out music teaching reform in Colleges and universities can improve students' music literacy through the introduction of multicultural music. Multicultural music is conducive to expanding students' diversifi ed thinking and vision, and is a new way of music education in Colleges and universities at present. This paper analyzes the importance of multicultural music in college music education, and explores the strategies of innovative application of multicultural music in college music education.
