Strategies for Improving English Class Effi   ciency Based on the Cognitive Characteristics of Deaf Students

Abstract


The education of deaf students with hearing impairment falls under the category of special education. At present, many deaf schools in China have high consumption and low effi ciency in English teaching for deaf students. Students acquire English knowledge mostly in class and the use of class time is very important, so it is necessary to improve the effi ciency of English class teaching, so as to ensure the eff ectiveness of deaf students’ English learning. This paper analyzes the cognitive characteristics of deaf students and studies the strategies for improving English class effi ciency based on these characteristics.
