Discuss the Gap Between Chinese and Foreign Tennis Players and the Solution

Abstract

The development history of tennis in China is relatively short, so it is relatively weak in the construction of tennis infra-structure. Coupled with the infl uence of other external factors, the social participation of Chinese tennis is low, and there is still a great distance between the level of Chinese tennis players and the level of world tennis. This paper analyzes the current situation of the development of tennis in China, points out the gap between Chinese tennis players and world elite tennis players, lists the specifi c diff erences between Chinese and foreign athletes in terms of competitive ability and training level, and explores some sug-gestions on establishing athlete training mechanism, developing tennis diversifi cation and perfecting the structure of tennis events according to the actual situation of our country, I hope to further promote the development of professional tennis players in China.
