An Analysis of the Singing Characteristics of the Traditional Yao Folk Songs in South Hunan
Abstract
Xiangnan Yao folk song is a form of singing in which the Yao people in Xiangnan express their inner thoughts and feelings through singing. This paper analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of Xiangnan traditional Yao folk song music by combining the current situation of Xiangnan Yao folk song with other scholars' interpretation of Yao folk song, so as to provide theoretical support for the development and inheritance of Xiangnan traditional Yao folk song.
