Practice and Thinking of College English Teaching Supported by Massive Open Online Course

Abstract


With the development of science and technology, the modernization of education is also advancing rapidly, which has played an important role in promoting the quality of teaching. In the teaching of college English, MOOC is widely used at present,which makes the traditional college English teaching mode innovate and stimulates students’ interest in learning. For teachers, it is also necessary to recognize the positive role of MOOC in college English teaching, and apply MOOC in the whole process of teaching to improve teaching results. This paper analyzes the advantages of MOOC application in college English teaching, and puts forward the strategy of college English teaching supported by MOOC, aiming to provide reference for future teaching.
