Research and Analysis on Development Strategies of College English Teachers Facing Education Informatization

Abstract

With the development of science and technology, the popularization rate of education informatization has obviously improved. The integration of information technology and English teaching in colleges and universities plays an important role in improving the quality of English teaching. As an important part of China’s education system, colleges and universities can use educational informatization to carry out English teaching, which can make the English teaching mode innovate in an all-round way and improve students’ English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. In order to make college English teachers make better use of educational informatization to carry out teaching work, it is necessary to do a good job in training teachers, improve the level of teachers’ informatization application, and improve the level of teachers’ professional development. This paper analyzes the role that education informatization can play in promoting the development of college English teachers, and puts forward the development strategy of college English teachers oriented to education informatization, aiming to provide reference for future research.
