Construction and Application of Parallel Corpus for Translation Teaching
Abstract
Infl uenced by the development trend of economic globalization, foreign exchange has become one of the main contents of national construction and development. The social demand for professional foreign language talents is constantly expanding,requiring students not only to have strong oral expression ability, but also to master certain translation skills. In the process of translation teaching, it is necessary to focus on students’ translation practice ability, which requires the construction of a perfect parallel corpus, and the use of the resources of the corpus to optimize the teaching content, improve the teaching mode, while strengthening the integration of translation teaching and modern technology, based on this, from the perspective of translation teaching, this paper explores the strategy of parallel corpus construction and application, hoping to improve the translation teaching process with the help of parallel corpora, to improve the teaching eff ect, thus strengthening students’ translation skills and language application ability.
