The Practice of Flipped Classroom in English Reading Teaching under the Background of Double Reduction Policy

Abstract


With the introduction of the double reduction policy and the popularization of the Internet technology, flipped classroom has become increasingly important in English reading teaching and has attracted much attention from the academic community. The present situation of traditional English reading class is not optimistic.
Flipped classroom changes the original thinking pattern and makes up for its defects through online and offline forms, in-class and extra-curricular forms. Based on analyzing the advantages of lipped classroom and its practical strategies in English reading teaching under the background of double reduction policy, feasible English reading methods , pecific strategies and suggestions are provided. It is hoped to provide reference for the efficiency and interest of English reading teaching.
