An Attempt of Block-Type Teaching Method in English Reading Class

Yuguang Wang

Abstract

The “block” teaching model uses “blocks” to integrate learning content, to form a teaching process, and to structure classroom teaching. The so-called “block mode” means that in the teaching of a class or a text, several teaching contents or teaching activities are arranged in an orderly manner from different angles, that is, the teaching content and the teaching process are arranged in the shape of a block. This paper studies the block teaching model from the perspective of classroom teaching structure, and analyzes the characteristics of this teaching idea in teaching practice.
