Scaffolding in College English Classrooms in the Context of Vocational Higher Education

Abstract


This paper aims to investigate the scaffolding among less proficient English learners in the context of higher vocational education in mainland China. The writer attempts to find out .The research has been conducted at a higher vocational institution in Jiangsu Province, People’s Republic of China; the 57 students in Year 1 were recruited from middle vocational high schools. The preliminary research findings demonstrate that. The research findings will enrich the current literature on scaffolding and some implications both for both theory and practice.
