The Need for Cross-cultural Understanding in Japanese Language Education —— The Example of Cultural Differences between China and Japan

Abstract


Chinese culture has always been considered as the mother of Japanese culture. Despite the close relationship between China and Japan, many Japanese language learners always have a lack of understanding and adaptation to Japanese culture, the difference between Chinese and Japanese cultures, after in-depth study. Japanese language learning must be communicated purposefully and professionally; by comparing the performance of the language, different cultural characteristics are discovered.
