A Theoretical Study and Case Study of Junior Middle School English Reading Based on KWLS Model
Abstract
Under the reform of the new curriculum standard,the reading quantity of junior middle school students is put forward certain requirements. According to the KWL model proposed by Ogle in 1986,after continuous improvement,the KWL model has been formed. The author takes K(know)-W(want)-L(learn)-S(still and share) as the theoretical guidance, combined with the teaching edition of “English” ninth grade whole volume. Unit One”How I Learned to Learn English?” Adhering to the principle of combining theory with practice,KWLS model is analyzed in detail.
