Abstract

With the continuous development of economy and society, with the continuous improvement of information level,the rapid development of information technology has brought great changes to people’s life and work. Big data is gradually applied to all walks of life in society, which brings a lot of challenges to all fi elds, requiring all walks of life to keep pace with the times and conform to the continuous development of informatization. At the same time, many requirements have been put forward for college English teaching, requiring college English teaching to innovate on the basis of big data. With the continuous development of social economy and informatization, the role and signifi cance of English subjects have gradually become prominent. Teaching innovation and reform should be carried out, and teaching innovation should be carried out according to the characteristics of students at this stage to promote the overall development of students.
