The Enlightenment of Modern Music Aesthetics to Music Education—Comment on “Music Teaching and Cultural Accomplishment”

Abstract

Modern music aesthetics was founded by German piano theorists at the end of the eighteenth century and became a new fi eld. Under the promotion of aesthetic education, modern music aesthetics in our country began t o fl ourish in the 20th century. Chinese music educators have gradually perfected the theoretical framework of modern Chinese music aesthetics through continuous learning and reference to Western music art. Modern music aesthetics theory includes all aspects of philosophy,psychology and sociology. Modern music aesthetics theory is helpful to improve the effi ciency of Chinese music education and enable students to obtain better educational conditions. Starting from the ideological connotation of modern music aesthetics itself, it can explain the important role of modern music aesthetics in music education, and the positive infl uence of modern music aesthetics theory on the overall growth of Chinese students.
