An Analysis of the Use of English Textbooks in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract


With the continuous promotion of English curriculum reform in higher vocational colleges, a variety of English text-books have emerged. How to choose suitable English textbooks according to the characteristics and development direction of higher vocational students is of great signifi cance to the reform of English curriculum in higher vocational colleges. This paper analyzes the use of English textbooks selected by some higher vocational colleges in Chongqing in order to fi nd problems, fi nd out countermeasures and promote the reform of English teaching in higher vocational colleges.
