The Application of Mathematical Contest in Modeling in Higher Vocational Teaching

Abstract


In higher vocational education, the teaching goal is to cultivate innovative and practical talents, requiring students to have a high level of social employment skills and practical level after graduation. Therefore, attaching importance to the cultivation of practical talents and the spirit of seeking truth from facts is the top priority of higher vocational education. In recent years, in order to improve the teaching level and teaching eff ect, the mathematical contest in modeling mechanism has been introduced into the curriculum to stimulate students to improve their practical ability and the ability to solve practical problems. This paper mainly focuses on the positive signifi cance of mathematical contest in modeling to students, and puts forward some suggestions for higher vocational teaching.
