Research on the Relationship Between Art Education and Quality Education

Abstract

Quality education not only pays attention to improving students’ cultural knowledge level, but also pays more attention to students’ aesthetic ability and art appreciation ability. Art education nurtures the spiritual world of students through diversifi ed art teaching methods, improves students’ art appreciation ability and aesthetic ability, and implements the core educational concept of cultivating people by virtue in art education. Art education in colleges and universities is facing important opportunities and major challenges, and necessary reforms need to be made in the new era. This paper mainly explores the reform of art education in colleges and universities under the background of quality education.
