Voluntary Service Exploration of Vocational College Students under the Background of Majors -- A Case Study of College of Resources and Environmental Engineering in Yangzhou Vocational University

Abstract

Voluntary service is a practical activity widely participated by college students in the new era, and also an important starting point of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges. Professional voluntary service can help students realize their own value and serve the society. This paper analyzes the necessity of combining college students’ voluntary service activities with professional practice by using the method of literature, questionnaire and specifi c project implementation, and tries to explore the new mode of integration of professional education and voluntary activities, build a professional voluntary service platform, construct a reasonable service team, and improve the incentive mechanism of voluntary service, and eff ectively promote the development of professional voluntary service, highlighting the development requirements of college students’ professional characteristics voluntary service.
