Aff ective Factors in Second Language Acquisition and Their Implications for Foreign Language Teaching

Abstract


Aff ective factors are an important factor in second language acquisition and teaching, and more and more scholars have studied second language acquisition from the perspective of aff ective factors in recent years.
Further research on aff ective factors in second language acquisition is necessary to better understand the impact of aff ective factors on second language acquisition and to better teach it.
This paper fi rst describes the infl uence of aff ective factors on second language acquisition from three aspects: motivation, attitude, and anxiety, and then suggests several insights into aff ective factors in second language acquisition for English language teaching.
