Based on the Integration of Traditional Music Culture in Vocal Music Teaching in Colleges and Universities

Abstract

As an ancient country with a history of 5000 years of civilization, China contains countless cultures, and the traditional music culture is one of the important components of China’s bright art and culture. Integrating the traditional music culture into the vocal music teaching in colleges and universities can effectively improve the students ‘music skills and music literacy, and cultivate the students’ comprehensive music ability. At the same time, it can also inherit the culture and cultivate students’ feelings of home and country. If teachers ignore the integration of traditional music culture and adopt the traditional teaching mode, it will have some adverse effects on students’ advanced learning in the future. Based on the artistic characteristics of the traditional music culture, this paper discusses the significance of integrating the traditional music culture in the vocal music teaching in colleges and universities, and finally puts forward several ways of integration, hoping to provide some theoretical help and reference for the vocal music teachers in colleges and universities.
