Eff ective Curriculum Implementation of General English in Universities with the Technology

Abstract


With the gradual expansion of economic globalization and China’s reform and development, college English occupies an increasing proportion in the higher education, which is a compulsory course in all kinds of universities. However, there are several challenges that may arise when implementing a curriculum for general English with technology. Based on the factors and criteria to be considered in curriculum implementation, the thesis aims to propose an eff ective curriculum implementation of general English in universities with the technology, so as to help students improve their language profi ciency and achieve their learning goals.
