The Interaction of Chorus and Piano in College Music Teaching

Abstract


In college music classes, piano and chorus are the main contents of voc al music teaching and instrument teaching, and they are inseparable. As a direct form of multi-part performance, chorus needs the cooperation of every member participating in the chorus; Piano performance pays more attention to the expression of music emotion. It is not diffi cult to fi nd that most of the choral works are accompanied by piano accompaniment, which complement each other and create more beautiful singing works. Starting from the positive signifi cance of chorus teaching and piano teaching in college music class, this paper analyzes the interaction between chorus and piano, and briefl y outlines the strategies to enhance the interaction between chorus and piano in college music teaching.
