Talking about Internet Language and Vocabulary Teaching in International Chinese Education

Abstract

Science and technology aided in the arrival of the information network era, fueled economic development and cultural dissemination, and had a signifi cant impact on language and writing systems. To some extent, the rise of Internet language has infl uenced people’s verbal communication styles and pragmatic habits. The Internet language is alive and changing, posing new challenges to the standardization of Internet language and vocabulary teaching in international Chinese education.
