A Brief Discussion on the Implementation of Project Learning in English Linguistics Teaching

Abstract


With the continuous deepening and upgrading of the reform of university education, the guiding ideology and teaching concept of various disciplines in universities have also changed to a certain extent. The goal of talent training in today’s universities is to combine theory and practice closely, integrate history and reality, and learn from each other at home and abroad, so as to form a meaningful, valuable, practical and feasible talent training system. Among them, English linguistics is the only way for English majors to lay a solid foundation, and it is one of the learning tasks that they need to master and understand deeply. Therefore, the introduction of appropriate teaching methods is of great signifi cance for improving the teaching results of this subject. Through continuous research and practice, project learning has become a good method to promote English linguistics teaching. Based on project learning, this paper will introduce the implementation of project learning in English linguistics teaching.
