Study on the Influence of Job Satisfaction on Turnover Intention of Teachers in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract


Based on the defi nition of job satisfaction and turnover intention, this paper analyzes the mechanism of job satisfaction and turnover intention of teachers in higher vocational colleges. Through questionnaire survey and empirical analysis of 213 teach-ers in higher vocational colleges, the results show that job satisfaction aff ects the turnover intention of teachers in higher vocational colleges, salary and welfare, working environment, normative commitment, continuous commitment have a significant negative impact on turnover intention. Accordingly, the author puts forward some countermeasures to stabilize the teachers in higher voca-tional colleges from three aspects: treatment, emotion and career.
