Characteristics of College English Hybrid Teaching Application Software

Abstract


With the continuous advancement and deepening of quality education, the education industry has set off a new wave of reform, including college English education. Under the influence of the new educational concept, teachers change the teaching goal from blindly pursuing students’ academic performance to realizing the all-round development of college students. This requires teachers to actively change teaching concepts, improve teaching methods, and enrich teaching content. Under the active exploration of college English teaching, a new English education method, that is, hybrid teaching, has emerged, hybrid teaching refers to the combination of the advantages of traditional learning and the advantages of digital or networked learning, and the combination of teachers’ guidance, inspiration, and monitoring with students’ initiative and creativity in learning. With the progress of science and technology, the advantages of software in hybrid teaching are becoming more and more obvious. Through software to achieve classroom goals such as communication and demonstration, teaching quality and teaching effi ciency are improved, and students can better learn college English.
