Tourism Impact on Heritage Destination

Abstract


Heritage drives the destination’s tourism development, but there is a conflict between heritage preservation and economic enhancement. This paper used case study, Confucius’ birthplace, Qufu county, to analyze the economic, sociocultural and environmental impact caused by the tourism development in Qufu county, and offer practical managerial implications for its further development.
