The Approaches to Apply Blended Teaching in Higher Vocational Courses from the Deep Learning Perspective

Jiang Li

Abstract

From the perspective of deep learning (hereafter referred to as DL), this paper takes the course of Tolerance Fit and Technical Measurement (hereafter referred to as TFTM) in higher vocational colleges as an example to discuss the approaches to apply blended teaching (hereafter referred to as BT) in higher vocational courses (hereafter referred to as HVC). Firstly, it analyzed the problems that existed in traditional teaching methods, as well as the definition and significance of BT, then proposed the basic principles and methods needed for BT, including choosing suitable BT models, selecting the right teaching tools and platforms, designing desirable course contents and teaching activities, and laying emphasis on students' participation and feedback. Finally, it takes TFTM course as an example and offers a practical plan for applying BT in the hope of improving students' performance as well as teaching quality.
