Abstract

Handmade papermaking with ancient method is a unique traditional culture in China, which has lasted for more than one thousand years. With the continuous improvement of modern industrialization, the traditional handmade papermaking is facing the problems of cultural disconnection and the loss of traditional skills. Located in the Dong nationality region in Guizhou, the ancient papermaking industry in Huanghe area, a small place in Guizhou province, has been greatly impacted, which has led to a sharp reduction in the number of people engaged in this industry, and the situation of lack of supply is becoming increasingly severe.
