Research on the Optimization of Western Instrumental Music Teaching in Colleges and Universities from the Perspective of Aesthetic Education

Abstract


At present, with the continuous development of economy and culture, China’s education policy reform, aesthetic education in Colleges and universities should focus on the reform and development of art education, pay attention to the comprehensive development of students’ moral, intellectual, physical, beauty and labor, and the importance of art education in colleges and universities in China is gradually deepening. However, the teaching mode of Western instrumental music in the teaching of aesthetic education in colleges and universities is single, the teaching staff is insuffi cient, and the teaching resources are mainly concentrated in the teaching of music major. Then there is a clear diff erence between aesthetic education and knowledge education and moral indoctrination in ways and means. Western instrumental music teaching must break the traditional teaching mode. This paper puts forward the innovation and optimization of teaching methods and teaching mode, combined with the history of Western music and the comparison of Chinese and Western music, to analyze and discuss the optimization measures of Western instrumental music aesthetic education teaching. So as to improve students’ aesthetic ability, cultivate positive and healthy aesthetic taste and music appreciation. Through the narrow sense of aesthetic education and aesthetic activities as a broad sense of aesthetic education complementary to promote the all-round development of students. Thus nurturing physical and mental health, all-round development of people.
