A Content-Related Validation Analysis of TEM-8 Listening Comprehension

Abstract


Validity is the main criterion for judging the quality of a set of test questions. TEM-8 is a test to examine the professional level of English majors, and the listening test is the key and diffi cult part of TEM-8. This study selects the real questions of the TEM-8 English Majors Test from 2016 to 2019 as the research object, collects and analyzes the relevant data of TEM-8 listening comprehension, and analyzes the relevant validity of TEM-8 listening content from 2016 to 2019. The purpose is to continuously improve and perfect the content and form of listening test, so as to make the validity of TEM-8 test more reliable.
