Smart Teaching and Learning in College English under 5G Technology

Abstract


5G mobile communication technology, characterized by higher speed，lower latency and wider coverage, brings more opportunities for the development of smart teaching and learning in college English . The profound impact of 5G on College English teaching and learning lies in fi ve aspects. It promotes the intelligence of teaching space, the interactivity of teaching resources, the integration of learning elements, the collaboration of teaching subjects and the ecologicalization of learning approaches . 5G also innovates four major teaching scenarios in College English teaching and learning : Human-AI empowered teaching, Distance learning, Cloud-based teaching and Virtual training.
