Research on University Counselors’ Promotion of Exchange, Communication and Integration Among Ethnic Students

Abstract

The Chinese nation is a community with a shared future, and exchanges, communication and integration to promote ethnic groups is the aspiration of the people. Exchange is the form, communication is the content, and integration is the purpose. To foster a strong sense of community among the Chinese nation is inseparable from the exchanges, communication and integration of various ethnic groups. University counselors are the backbone of students ‘ideological and political work, fully engaged in students’ ideological education and behavior management, and are an important part of teachers. As a group closely related to college students, university counselors play an irreplaceable role in promoting the exchange, communication and integration of students of various ethnic groups. Therefore, university counselors should take the sense of community of the Chinese nation as the main line, promote the active exchange, in-depth communication and conscious integration of students of all ethnic groups, and promote the unity and unifi cation of students of all ethnic groups in ideals, beliefs, emotions and culture.
