Research on the Teaching Methods of College Student Psychological Education Based on Cognitive Psychology

Abstract


Mental health education for university students is one of the important research directions in modern education. Its aim is to promote the mental health and overall development of students by providing eff ective education and support. With the continuous changes in society and the increasing complexity of the educational environment, university students are facing an increasing number of mental health issues and challenges. This presents new demands and challenges for educators and school administrators. In the part on mental health education methods based on cognitive psychology, this study will focus on the application of two main aspects, cognitive behavioral therapy and cognitive development theory, in mental health education for university students. It provides a mental health education strategy for university students based on cognitive psychology to improve students’ academic achievements, enhance their mental health, and help them better meet students’ psychological needs and promote their overall development.
